Springside School

From 1879 to 2010 Springside School was an all-girls school (pre-K through 12th grade) in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood, in the Northwest section of Philadelphia in the United States. In 2010 Springside School merged with its academic partner and neighbor, the all-boys school Chestnut Hill Academy. The two schools together are now known as Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. Springside School was the oldest girls' school in Philadelphia. Historically this school had an exchange program with the Jules-Fils Lycee in Carcassonne, France. It was suspended in 2003.
