Stellendam

Stellendam is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee, and lies about 9 km west of Hellevoetsluis. In 2001, the town of Stellendam had 3,246 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.6 km², and contained 1,311 residences. The wider statistical district of Stellendam has a population of around 3,510. Stellendam was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1966, when it became part of Goedereede. Last one has made part of the new municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee since 2013.
