TECOM Group, formerly known as TECOM Investments, operates 11 sector-focused communities in Dubai. It is a unit of the sovereign investment vehicle, Dubai Holding The group works with the Dubai Government in its new strategies and plans: TECOM merged two of its projects, Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park, and the Energy and Environment Park, in 2015, into Dubai Science Park. New brand identities were announced in 2015 and 2016 for some of its communities: TECOM also manages Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City and Dubai International Academic City.
