Telangana Department of Agriculture (Telugu: తెలంగాణ వ్యవసాయ శాఖ),has been created by Government of Telangana mainly to provide Agricultural Extension services to farmers and to transfer the latest technical knowledge to the farming community. Telangana agriculture department separated form Andhra Predesh as part of Andhra Pradesh bifurcation It aims promote agricultural trade and to boost up the agricultural production and productivity in the Telangana.
