The 2006 Texas Legislature election was held on Tuesday, 7 November 2006, in the U.S. state of Texas. The Texas Legislature election was conducted as a part of the Texas general election, 2006, which also included the Texas United States Senate election, 2006, the Texas United States House elections, 2006, and the Texas gubernatorial election, 2006. Successful candidates served in the Eightieth Texas Legislature, which convened 9 January 2007 at the capitol in Austin.
