The Galleria of Mt. Lebanon
The Galleria of Mt. Lebanon is an upscale shopping mall located in the southern Pittsburgh suburb of Mt. Lebanon. It opened on the corner of Washington Rd. (U.S. 19) and Gilkeson Rd. in 1964 as a Kaufmann's department store with 250,000 square feet (23,000 m2) of interior retail space. In 1988, the building was converted into a 62-space shopping mall after Kaufmann's moved into the former Gimbels department store building at nearby South Hills Village.
