The Giraffes is a solo endeavor by Seattle-based artist Chris Ballew, better known as a member of the Presidents of the United States of America. Originally founded in 1998 and consisting of a single member, the band has been performing live since 2000 with the help of Jason Staczek (organ, clarinet) and Mike Musburger (drums).
