Presented as a found footage film "based on real events", it is set in the present day and focuses upon a supposed conspiracy with regards to the Phoenix lights, a mass UFO sighting which occurred in Phoenix, Arizona, and Sonora, Mexico on Thursday, March 13, 1997.
