The Toyota Verso (codenamed ZGR20 or AUR20) is a 5-door estate compact MPV by the Japanese automaker Toyota. The Verso was revealed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show in March 2009 as the successor of the Toyota Corolla Verso. Available in 5 or 7 seat derivatives, it is positioned below the Wish and above the Ractis in Japan, the Verso-S in Europe and the Space Verso in Israel. The Verso is the safest MPV, according to Euro NCAP’s test results for 2010. Competitors include the Opel/Vauxhall Zafira Tourer, Ford C-Max, Volkswagen Touran, Mazda5 and the Peugeot 5008.
