UHV Jaguars

The UHV Jaguars (also known as Jaguars, Jags, Houston–Victoria, or UHV) are the athletic teams of the University of Houston–Victoria. The nickname "Jaguar" originates from input by students, staff, faculty, and the local community. Playing for the first time in the 2008 season, the Jaguars field teams in baseball and softball, men's and women's golf and men's and women's soccer programs. UHV's athletic director is Ashley Walyuchow. Formerly an independent NAIA program until the 2015-16 season, the Jaguars compete as a member of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC).
