Utah System of Higher Education

The Utah State Board of Regents was formed in 1969 as a governing body for the Utah System of Higher Education. It is made up of Utah State University Eastern, Dixie State University, Salt Lake Community College, Snow College, Southern Utah University, the University of Utah, Utah College of Applied Technology, Utah State University, Utah Valley University, and Weber State University. The first commissioner and executive officer of the Utah System of Higher Education was G. Homer Durham, the former president of Arizona State University.
