Virginia Cavaliers

The Virginia Cavaliers, also known as Wahoos or Hoos, are the athletic teams representing the University of Virginia. They compete as a member of the NCAA Division I level (FBS for football), competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference for all sports since 1953. UVA was awarded the Capital One Cup for the top NCAA men's sports program in July 2015 after winning an ACC-record three NCAA titles (the College Cup in soccer, the College World Series in baseball, and the NCAA Tennis Championships) in a single academic year. The Cavaliers have placed in the Top 5 nationally several times, ranking first in 2014–15, second in 2010–11, and fourth in 2013–14.
