WMTT

WMTT is a classic rock radio station licensed to Tioga, Pennsylvania and serving the Elmira-Corning metro area. At one time prior to 2005 the station's call sign was WPHD. WPHD, 96.1 MHz, is still the sister station of WMTT. WPHD is located within the WMTT studios at 495 Chemung Street in Horseheads, New York 14845. When WMTT first signed on; on Memorial Day Weekend of 1991, WMTT was on 93.3 MHz and was rebroadcasting its sister station at the time, WKGB-FM, Conklin, New York. In September 1991 WMTT switched to 94.7 MHz. In April 1992 the station began a progressive separation from its sister, WKGB-FM. During 1994 WMTT ran the ABC Classic Rock format. From January 1, 1995 to May 1, 1995 WMTT simulcasted FM station WBSX, Hazleton, PA which at the time was called The Mountain, airing an AOR
