Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel
Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel is an Orthodox yeshiva in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, New York. It was founded in 1988 by Rabbi David Harris, Rabbi Zvi Turk, and Rabbi Yehuda Jacobson. Enrollment is approximately 800 at the preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, and beis medrash levels. Most students continue in the associated kollel for three to eight years. Rabbi Turk and Rabbi Jacobson are currently co-principals of the yeshiva, and teach the second and first classes of the beis medrash, respectively. It is a Lithuanian-style, Haredi but non-Hasidic yeshiva focusing on Talmud study.
