Nicknamed La fiera de Vallecas (The beast of Vallecas), he has played for Rayo Vallecano, Real Madrid B, Almería, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Manchester City, Valencia, Middlesbrough, Beşiktaş, Al-Nasr and Cádiz. In nine seasons in La Liga, he amassed totals of 299 matches and 120 goals. Negredo earned 21 caps for Spain, scoring ten goals and being part of the team that won Euro 2012.
