The 1974–75 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began in October 1974 and concluded with the 1975 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament's championship game on March 15, 1975 at the St. Louis Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. This was the 28th season in which an NCAA ice hockey championship was held and is the 80th year overall where an NCAA school fielded a team.
