The 2002 UEFA Cup Final was an association football match played on 8 May 2002, between Feyenoord of the Netherlands and Borussia Dortmund of Germany. Feyenoord won the match 3–2 on their home ground, the Feijenoord Stadion in Rotterdam. It was the 31st UEFA Cup Final and it was also the first time that the final had been played at a finalist's home ground since the introduction of single–match finals in the UEFA Cup in 1998. Previous to this match, Feyenoord had not won a European trophy since 1974, when they beat Tottenham Hotspur to win the UEFA Cup.
