2006 Women's Intercontinental Cup

The 2006 Women's Hockey Intercontinental Cup was the seventh edition of the women's field hockey tournament. The event was held from 25 April–6 May, in Rome, Italy. England won the tournament for the second time after defeating South Korea 2–1 in the final. Japan finished in third place, defeating the United States 4–1. The tournament served as a qualifier for the 2006 FIH World Cup in Madrid, with the top five teams qualifying automatically.
