2019 IIHF World Championship Division I
The 2019 IIHF World Championship Division I was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Group A tournament was held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan from 29 April to 5 May and the Group B tournament in Tallinn, Estonia from 28 April to 4 May 2019. Belarus and Kazakhstan gained promotion to the top division, while Romania was promoted to Group A next year. Lithuania and the Netherlands were relegated to Group B and Division II by finishing last in their tournaments.
