2020–21 Malaysian political crisis
The 2020–21 Malaysian political crisis (Malay: Krisis Politik Malaysia 2020–21), commonly nicknamed as the Sheraton Move (Malay: Langkah Sheraton), is an ongoing political crisis in Malaysia that has led to the appointment of Muhyiddin Yassin as the 8th prime minister. It also oversaw the ousting of the coalition government of Pakatan Harapan after having ruled the nation for 22 months following their unprecedented victory in the 2018 Malaysian general election.
