The 2021 Hungarian opposition primary is a planned primary election to select the candidate for Prime Minister supported by the opposition parties running together in the 2022 Hungarian parliamentary election. If held, it would be the first countrywide primary election in Hungary. The parties are expected to also select common candidates for single-member districts via the primary. The exact format and electoral system are yet to be determined. According to the decision, the primary process will be ended by 23 October 2021.
