2021 Mexican local elections

Local elections are scheduled to be held in Mexico on June 6, 2021. Local elections will be held for thirty state congresses, 1,900 town halls (ayuntamientos or municipalities), Mexico City borough mayors, municipal boards and municipal presidents. Fifteen gubernatorial elections and federal legislative elections will be held the same day. The INE said that 300 polling places could not be installed in Chiapas, Michoacán or Oaxaca on June 6 due to social conditions that make voting dangerous or impossible.
