With an apparent magnitude of about 5.6, it is bright enough to be seen by naked eye. Based upon an annual parallax shift of 7.8991 mas, it is located 413 light years away. The star has 3 times the mass of the Sun and 2.4 times the Sun's radius. It is radiating 110 times the Sun's luminosity from its photosphere at an effective temperature of 11,967 K.
