Aachen Formation
The Aachen Formation (Dutch: Formatie van Aken, CKAK; German: Aachen-Formation) is a Late Cretaceous geologic formation in the southern Netherlands and northeastern Belgium and adjacent Germany. It is part of the Chalk Group and named after the German city of Aachen.
