Aati, also called Ati, was an Egyptian god who was one of the 42 judges of the dead. The name Aati means "a leper." She comes from Heliopolis. The god will question a soul traveling through the underworld on a sin. The soul must deny it with the line "O Aati who comes from Heliopolis, I have not foolishly set my mouth in motion against another man."
