Abdelmalek Essaâdi University (Arabic: جامعة عبدالمالك السعدي‎) is a public Moroccan university created in 1989. It is considered to be the main university in the North of the Moroccan Kingdom. This university is made up of 15 institutions, including schools and establishments spread across the Tanger-Tétouan-AL Hoceima region and in the city of Larache. It covers the fields of science, law, economics, humanities and letters and technology. In 2016, the University established the CONFUCIUS Institute for Chinese Language Learning, the third nationwide institute.
