Acid for the Children is the memoir of Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea. It was released on November 5, 2019 by Grand Central Publishing. An audiobook and E-book version has accompanied the release. The book was announced in early 2018 with a release date of September 25, 2018 and it was then pushed back to November 27, 2018. In September 2018, Flea announced that the book would now be released sometime in 2019 saying "Due to some scheduling conflicts, the release of my memoir has been delayed until next year. Will have a date as soon as possible.” Flea announced on August 7, 2019 through his Instagram that the book would be released on November 5, 2019.
