Acrojana simillima

Acrojana simillima is a moth in the family Eupterotidae. It was described by Rothschild in 1932. It is found in Sierra Leone. The wingspan about 132 mm. Adults are similar to Acrojana splendida, with a salmon-red area on the hindwings. The underside of the abdomen is scarlet mixed with wood-brown and the legs are scarlet edged with wood-brown. The wings are dark wood-brown crossed by two black brown lines, the inner area of the forewings orange-salmon and the cell of the forewings washed with orange-salmon.
