Adriaan Abraham “Adri” Dees (5 October 1942 – 1 February 2021) was a Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy. Born in Wissenkerke, he was the son of a farmer. He graduated from Landbouwhogeschool Wageningen. He started working as a staff member at . Dees was also active in local politics; he became a councilor in Bathmen at the age of 32 and around 1983 he became an alderman there. In 1985 Dees became mayor of Zuidhorn and in 1990 he was appointed mayor of Winsum, which he would remain until his early retirement in May 2004.
