Aleksandrovsk Bolshevik Uprising
Aleksandrovsk Uprising was an armed insurgency of workers of the Aleksandrovsk city on 25 December (12 December) 1917. The uprising was headed by Bolsheviks against the Central Council of Ukraine. Black Sea sailors of the Black Sea Revolutionary formation participated in the revolt. They were led by Aleksei Mokrousov. The rebels took a telephone station, a power station, and a part of the city. However, after three days of fighting the insurgency was suppressed.
