American University of Malta
The American University of Malta (AUM) is a private, American-style liberal arts college in Cospicua, Malta. The initiation of the educational institution was announced in May 2015, and the project was originally intended to regenerate the South of Malta and give said area an economic and social boost. Since the proposal was announced, Dock 1 in Cospicua was chosen for the head campus, while extensions are being planned for other sites in Cospicua and Żonqor, Marsaskala. It was officially established on 16 September 2016.
