In Greek mythology, Amphissa (Ancient Greek: Ἄμφισσα) or simply, Issa (/ˈiːsɑː/; Ἴσσα) was the daughter of Macareus and a lover of Apollo. She was the eponym of the city Amphissa in Ozolian Locris, where her memory was perpetuated by a splendid monument.
