Angela Trindade

Angela Trindade (1909 - 1980) was a painter and among the earliest women artists in India. She could paint in five different styles at the least, with a particular style of her own called "Trinidadism" (Trinity Style). She gained international recognition for her Christian paintings in the Indian style. Angela was the daughter of António Xavier Trindade, who was an accomplished painter and widely regarded as the "Rembrandt of the East".
