The Ansbach University of Applied Sciences (German: Hochschule Ansbach) is a university of applied sciences (Fachhochschule) in Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany. It was founded in 1996 and counted approximately 1,800 students as of 2008. It is the newest University of Applied Sciences in the Free State of Bavaria. The percentage of foreign students is about 6 percent. As of 2010 there are 2,300 students. In January 2008 the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences was ranked in first place in the “Hochschulranking” (University ranking) which was processed by UNIcheck.de.
