Anton Schall

Anton Schall (22 June 1907 – 5 August 1947, Zürich) was an Austrian football forward who played for Austria in the 1934 FIFA World Cup. He also played for Admira Vienna, and later managed FC Basel. Normally a versatile left footed forward or winger, Schall is considered one of the greatest Austrian footballers. A pacy, skillful forward, Schall possessed fine finishing and great attacking intelligence. Later in his career Schall played as a defender.
