Balintore is a small farming community in South West Victoria, Australia. It lies approximately 15 km North of Colac. Balintore is nestled between Lake Colac and Lake Corangamite. Red Rock is a short drive away. Dairy and beef farming are the main industries in the area. Balintore once had a primary school. The school closed in 1952. Students from Balintore school, were then bussed to Alvie Consolidated School. A tennis club also existed for many years. The courts were removed around 1994.
