Barbados Amateur Swimming Association
The Barbados Amateur Swimming Association (BASA) is the current governing body for Aquatic Sports. Namely, Synchronized Swimming and Water Polo. The association is overseen by the council of elected members. BASA strives to promote the culture of swimming through the provision of junctures for swimmers and coaches to engage in advance aquatic sports through clubs, events and beginner level swimming programmes. The Barbados Aquatic Centre swimming fraternity is home to the Olympic standard size 50M and 25M swim pools.
