Baseball at the 2020 Summer Olympics

Baseball will be featured at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Tokyo, for the first time since the 2008 Summer Olympics. Six national teams will compete in the tournament. Israel, Japan (host), Mexico, South Korea, the United States, and the Dominican Republic have qualified. Baseball/softball is one of five sports that were added to the programme of the 2020 Summer Olympics only. It will not return in 2024. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2020, but on 24 March 2020, the Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
