Benjamin Aislabie

Benjamin Aislabie (14 January 1774 – 2 June 1842) was an English merchant, slave plantation owner, cricket administrator and amateur cricketer who played first-class cricket between 1808 and 1841. Aislabie was the first Honorary Secretary of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and was influential in its early development. He was a wealthy merchant and one of the worst first-class cricketers on record.
