The COVID-19 pandemic in Denmark is part of the ongoing worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus was first confirmed to have spread to Denmark on 27 February 2020. In an attempt to reduce the economic impact of the pandemic, the government has introduced large economic packages with the support of all parties in Parliament. Nevertheless, it has been estimated that there will be a decrease in Gross Domestic Product of 3–10% in 2020.
