Chuck Goggin
Charles Francis Goggin (born July 7, 1945, in Pompano Beach, Florida) is a former utility player in Major League Baseball who played with three teams from 1972 to 1974 and is the most decorated Vietnam War veteran to play Major League Baseball. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1972–73), Atlanta Braves (1973) and Boston Red Sox (1974). A pinch hitter and versatile player with a good throwing arm, Goggin made 35 appearances in all, mostly at second base, at 22 games. He also played 5 games each in left field and shortstop, two games as a backup catcher and a game in right field.
