Claxby, or Claxby by Normanby, is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish taken at the 2011 census was 221. It is situated approximately 4 miles (6 km) north from the town of Market Rasen and 5 miles (8 km) south from the town of Caistor. Claxby has a Parish Council consisting of seven Councillors and a Clerk which meets four times per year and maintains its own website.
