Conrad L. Mallett Jr.
Conrad L. Mallett Jr. (born October 12, 1953) was a Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court from December 21, 1990 to January 2, 1999, serving as Chief Justice for periods in 1997 and 1998. He is on the Board of Directors of Lear Corporation. He was a partner at Miller Canfield. On the Michigan Supreme Court he was the first African American to serve as Chief Justice. Mallett was president of DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital from 2003 to 2011, and was named interim CEO of DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in March 2017.
