The constitutional oath of office of China is the oath or affirmation that is used in China — which is referred to either as: the People's Republic of China (PRC, "China") or the Republic of China (ROC, "Taiwan"). The PRC implemented its oath on January 1, 2016 through a decision by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. The oath requirement applies to state civil servants elected or appointed by the National People's Congress and its Standing Committee at or above the county level.
