The single charted in many countries, and the single's best chart positions was in Hungary, Germany and Denmark where it reached the Top 10. It also reached number-one on the RPM Dance chart in Canada. A CD Maxi Single containing remixes of "Crying in the Rain" was also released under the name "Crying in the Rain Remixes".
