Dhofari Arabic (also known as Dhofari, Zofari) is a variety of Arabic, spoken in Salalah, Oman, Yemen, and the surrounding coastal regions (the Dhofar Governorate). Nomadic and sedentary communities live in the area, and for them Dhofari neo-Arabic can be a first language or a second language or lingua franca, spoken with varying degrees of fluency. It has the ISO 639-3 language code "adf", and belongs to Peninsular Arabic.
