Dongsi Shitiao station, or Dongsishitiao station (simplified Chinese: 东四十条站; traditional Chinese: 東四十條站; pinyin: Dōngsì Shítiáo zhàn), is a station on Line 2 of the Beijing Subway. A platform exists below the existing Line 2 platforms reserved for the planned Line 3 when the station was first built. The connections between the platforms currently fenced off, but will finally open in 2023 when Line 3 becomes operational, almost 40 years after the station itself opened. The unused platform originally meant for Line 3 will become the transfer hall between the two lines and will be renovated. 2 new platforms will be built 7-8 metres below it, 1 for each direction.
