Doomsday Clock (comics)

Doomsday Clock is a superhero comic book limited series published by DC Comics, written by Geoff Johns with art by penciller Gary Frank and colorist Brad Anderson. The series concludes the story established in The New 52 and DC Rebirth, and it is a direct sequel to the graphic novel Watchmen by Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons and John Higgins. Although then DC co-publisher Dan DiDio confirmed that Doomsday Clock is a sequel to Watchmen, Johns originally declined to characterize it as such, viewing it as a standalone story. The series began on November 22, 2017 and concluded on December 18, 2019.
