Dukhovshchinsky District (Russian: Духовщи́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Smolensk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast and borders with Belsky District of Tver Oblast in the north, Kholm-Zhirkovsky District in the northeast, Yartsevsky District in the east, Kardymovsky District in the south, Smolensky District in the southwest, Demidovsky District in the west, and with Zharkovsky District of Tver Oblast in the northwest. The area of the district is 2,610.78 square kilometers (1,008.03 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Dukhovshchina.
