Ebosia

Ebosia is a genus of scorpionfishes native to the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean. Two species have been described since 2014. The Ebosia usually inhabit depths less than 100 m in muddy or sandy bottoms. They are characterized by having the coronal, parietal and nuchal spines bases continuous, and the parietal spine elevated, being a thin bony crest in males. There are currently four recognized species.
